This page features a selection of Gaïd Ombre’s large-scale works. Some are painted on canvas, but most are created on Dibond aluminum, just like the other series. Her work is often created in series, but some paintings also stand on their own. Gaïd’s work is always easily recognizable by its distinctive use of color and energetic brushstroke.

Much of Gaïd Ombre’s inspiration comes from fashion and fashion history. The large works in this series often refer, in an abstract way, to fashion and the ways in which people use it to distinguish themselves.
